Global Warming
Our Goal:
To implement the recommendations of the Global Warming Commission that we created last session with policies that will not only protect us from the threat of a warming planet but also reduce our energy dependence, create new high-wage jobs and improve our economy.
The Energy Efficiency package met with mixed success at the legislature. Three bills from the package are now law, two have been referred to Interim study, and the last two failed to pass out of committee.Post-Session Update:
