CFC Priorities for the 2009 Legislative Session

Implement the recommendations of the Minority HIV-AIDS task force to reduce the spread of the HIV-AIDS in the communities where it is currently spreading most rapidly.

Accomplishments of the CFC in the 2007 Arkansas General Assembly

We passed our main public health priority, creating a Minority HIV/AIDS Task Force to respond to the epidemic of HIV/AIDS in the minority community, among women, African Americans and Hispanics that is not being addressed by current programs.   The end result of this work will make the public more knowledgeable and make services more accessible to minorities and rural communities.
