Join Us Thursday for a South Arkansas Lobby Day

 CFC update header.JPG

Dear Friend,

Make your voice heard!  Join us at the state Capitol for the CFC's   South Arkansas Legislative Lunch and Lobby Day   this Thursday, January 27th.

Lawmakers need to hear from YOU!  People from across South Arkansas will come together to tell your legislators what you need to strengthen your community and help us support the 10 Priorities for a Better Arkansas - education reform, kids' health insurance, corrections reform and more! You make a big difference when you attend, observe and speak on the issues you care about the most.

The Lobby Day Agenda:

9:00am    Continental Breakfast and Legislative Review at the Arkansas Education Association Building

10:00am    Attend committee hearings of the legislature to see how the process works.  Education, Public Health, Judiciary, Agriculture and Economic Development committees will be meeting that day.

11:30am    Lunch with your legislators at the Arkansas Education Association Building. Get to know your legislators and let them know what issues are important to you!

1:00pm    Tour the Capitol and attend the meetings of the Arkansas House and Senate.  We’ll help you find your legislators that you may have missed at lunch so you can make sure they know what you think of the issues.

2:30pm    Adjourn

We look forward to seeing you on January 27th!
